8:00 am Worship
The 8 am Worship service uses a variety of liturgies that follow the
ancient liturgy of the 4th Century. User-friendly bulletins are provided. Each service includes a
corporate confession of sins for all who have gathered, hymns of praise, a prayer of the day,
appointed scriptures from the lectionary followed by a message from the pastor. Prayers for God's
people everywhere are offered. Children's messages are shared each Sunday. Holy Communion is
celebrated weekly. The worship leaders normally vest according to the seasons of the liturgical
church calendar. Music is led via an adult choir accompanied by both organ and/or piano.
10:30 am Worship
The 10:30 am Worship provides a casual setting recognizing God's
holiness and presence. It is God's House! All are welcome! Using a 21st Century model of emerging worship in America, this service
is a refreshing transition leading the worshiping community from one week toward a strengthening of faith
into the next. This service is attended by a multi-generational mix of people with the worship
service being led by the New Life House Band. The Pastor and worship leaders dress in a less formal
manner. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly. Children's messages are shared weekly as well. All are
sent back into the world to love God and serve our neighbor.
